Sonya & Jason
Mucho thanks to Sonya & Jason for inviting me to shoot their wedding. It was held at the gorgeous Jefferson Street Mansion in Benicia. These guys were so much fun to shoot – always giggling and snuggling and laughing. Family and friends were great. As it happens we know a lot of the same people through church connections, so I also got to see a lot of old friends as well… and I mean ooooold friends. :)
Sonya, you were a beautiful bride. Jason, you were THE man. Everything turned out perfect. So glad I got to be a part. Full gallery is still a couple of weeks out. Until then: enjoy!

Hilda’s Girls
My friend Hilda recently asked me to do a session with her two daughters, Rosa and Alexa. I do family sessions, though I don’t usually blog the family session images just because the majority of searchers on my site are here for HS Senior Sessions and Weddings. BUT… these came out so cute I had to share.
Rosa was the perfect little model. She loves being in front of the camera and it shows here. Alexa…. not so much!! :) But we still managed to trick her into a few awesome shots. Hats with holes in ‘em and peek-a-boo turned out to be the remedy.
Thanks Hilda for asking me to photograph your family. I love how they turned out. Enjoy!

HA! I love this shot.

Rosa wanted to take Tootsie home with her…
Liz & Cody
Ever had someone pull over their car right by where you’re standing, yank their kid out and start yelling at him loudly while he screams his head off? Well that happened while I was shooting with Liz and Cody. :) They’re a really cool couple getting married next June, and came to me for some engagement pics. Good times were had by all as we trespassed and dodged the Sherriff, spied on a mysterious Iranian woman with an older, bearded white dude who drove by us a couple of times, avoided deer droppings, got tons of tiny red spiders up our pants leg (well, I did), chased the sunset, and cracked jokes in a really bad Borat accent (well, Liz did).
All in all – a good day shooting! I really enjoyed meeting you guys, Liz and Cody. Keep your sense of humor and you guys’ll last forever. You guys go really good together. Look forward to hanging out with you a little more sometime soon. Enjoy ~

Dude – your chick is hot!
Cody asked for this pose…. awwww…. jk
