Noah, Tot & a turtle

My nephew Noah is one of the funniest kids ever.  From the way he wears boots and diapers, to the Linus-like washcloth… no, not a blanket, a washcloth, to taking dips in the dogs’ waterbowl, to climbing inside his sister’s miniature dollhouse, to playing in the toilet, to dumping a bottle of powder all over the hardwood floors, to eating the dogs’ food… and the list goes on.

Anyway, got a chance to shoot him and big sis, Tater Tot (Taylor) a while ago.  Lacy finally threatened me with mayhem if I didn’t get them edited for her – sorry, Lace!  So since there was no way that kid was gonna sit still for pics, we rolled with it and ventured to the Nut Tree carousel, and then bought a turtle and went to the park to see what dude would do with it…….  :D

Met the wonderful family of Willie, Jeannie and Avi yesterday. We had a blast ducking, dodging, and wearing Avi’s spit, puke, peepee and poops. We can truly say the little guy gave his all on this shoot. :D I look forward to spending more time with them after Willie comes back from the UAE on deployment. Much happiness to you guys. You have a beautiful family. Here are a few teasers, hopefully you see these before you take off, Willie. You’re in my family’s prayers. Enjoy.

My wife – my mini-me’s

So my wife is always buggin’ me for pics of my own family… can you believe her nerve?? And I was supposed to do something really special for Valentine’s Day but got swamped and it didn’t happen… can you believe my nerve?? Anyway I had a rare weekend off, so we drove up to Ione, home of Preston castle and took some awesome pictures of mini-him & mini-her.

This location has some absolutely gorgeous light. The high ceilings and deteriorated interior (say that 5 times fast) just lend this drama and atmosphere that’s really beautiful.  Enough of my etymological ineptitude, here are a few thousand words to describe it a little better.  Enjoy.

Jael & Caleb – thanks for being so patient with DaddyDude’s a PIMP! Already has 5 ‘crushes’ at school. What does that mean??One of my fav ‘tricks’ to catch a moment… tell him to hold on sec – he looks down – I take pic – he gets mad at me. :D Love the lightHis butt-chin comes from Chelsea’s side of the fambly – that’s no Mexicano thing.My princessNot sure when she learned to pose – but I’ll have to post some more of her ‘flow-posing’. Not sure if I’m happy or disturbed…I think you can see me right there on her pinky…Happiness for now… but they soon tired of the posing.I’m purty lucky. God be thanked for these two blessings.
